Viruses are tiny microorganisms
and found everywhere in the environment. Experts claim that humans are
excessively exposed to these biological organisms through surfaces, food
or even water. Till now, there are not less than 1.8 million species of
living organisms in ecosystem that serve as a host to a number of viruses. Majority of these viruses are still unidentified, says a recent study.
These infectious agents are very small in size and replicates only inside a live cell organization, therefore they are not considered live, normally. During the study, the team of experts analyzed genetic signatures of these agents in a sample taken from raw sewage across the regions of North America, Europe and Africa. Afterwards, they observed more than 243 unidentified viruses in that sample. Continue
