McDonald's worker posed as rock star on Facebook to lure American teen to British forest where he cut her throat

A McDonald's worker pretended to be a rock star to seduce an American woman he met on Facebook before slitting her throat and repeatedly stabbing her.

David Russell, 20, has been jailed for life for the calculated kidnap and attempted murder of Maricar Benedicto,19, from California. 
He must serve 17-and-a-half years in prison. 

Russell, from Duston, Northampton, had posed on the internet using a fake identity as Bring Me the Horizon frontman Oliver Sykes.


He admitted kidnap and attempted murder, met Miss Maricar through Facebook while using the pseudonym of the rock star in 2010.  Read Here
