Paul McCartney marries American heiress in London

LONDON — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and American heiress Nancy Shevell have gotten married at a central London town hall and were heading to a gala reception at McCartney's home. 

The loving couple waved to the hundreds who had gathered on the steps of Old Marylebone Town Hall for the big event.

The dark-haired bride wore an elegant, above-the-knee ivory dress designed by McCartney's daughter Stella.

McCartney wore a dark suit, a somber tie, and a big grin as he climbed the town hall stairs.   More Read
