Pearl River Delta polluted by heavy metals

People who often travel in mainland China must be very aware of what they eat. According to the Geochemistry Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, the Pearl River and Macao Harbor are polluted with levels of copper and zinc that are much higher than those found in other estuaries and bays. In addition, the level of cadmium is also significantly higher than average findings in other ports all over the world.   Continue
