Taiwan international cultural, creative expo opens

The 2011 Taiwan International Cultural and Creative Industry Expo (TICCIE) opened in Taipei Thursday, drawing 457 companies and individual designers showcasing their cultural and creative concepts and products.

Vice President Vincent Siew and Premier Wu Den-yih spoke at the opening to offer their blessings and congratulations to the four-day show taking place at the Taipei World Trade Center's Nangang Exhibition Hall.

Siew said that developing the cultural and creative industry is now a global trend and that it takes concerted efforts by all relevant sectors to put Taiwan's unique culture and creativity on the world stage.  Read Here
