'So does this make me a s*** mum?' What drunk mother asked police after downing wine and vodka before crashing car with her two-year-old in the back

A mother downed two bottles of wine and swigged vodka before getting in a car with her two-year-old son - and crashing as she wrote a text message.

And when police arrived at the scene, Kirsty Dieng, 23, was so drunk she couldn't even spell her son's name and asked an officer: 'Does that make me a s*** mum?'

The mum-of-two couldn't even remember her toddler's date of birth after she ploughed her VW Golf into a traffic island in Bristol.

Bristol Magistrates' Court heard that Dieng had spent the evening drinking with a friend - and had then promised to give her a lift home, before deciding to take her pal and her son for a longer drive - despite being three times over the drink-drive limit.   Read More
